When I was driving up Second street last week I noticed that there are some houses that could use some work. Many prospective students and prospective students parents drive on the street to get to the college. So, I think it would be nice if we fixed up some of those houses. The above pictures are of the houses on Second street that I noticed could use some work. For the most part, I think that the houses just need some paint and if we could plant some flowers or shrubs I think it would add a lot.

I picked houses on the outskirts of town. First there's a stretch of 3 houses on Division as you drive in from K-7, on the right. 1136 Division is a gray house and newspapers are on the windows. 1124 Division is white with a lot of stains on it and green window sills, it looks ugly. 1126 Division is right in between the two and doesn't look nice because it's yellow. Further down Division at Oak is a lime or puke colored green house with a shed. It's right across from the gas station. It's really ugly. Finally, on George St. and 59 across from Taco Bell is a house that is very run down, still with Christmas lights up. It's right as you come in town after people would see the plants and factories right along 59. Sorry I don't have pics, couldn't get a camera.
im not sure how many houses we are going to be able to worl on, but i think that fixing up any houses on division would be a good idea. the are many that could use our help, especailly the ones form like 6 th and futher down.
