Thanks to all who helped on our house! I feel that it was a huge success and feel very fortunate to have been a part of it!

This house was in a very bad state when we got to it. It was obvious that the upkeep of the outside apperance hadn't had much attention for years. At first glance, this house seemed to of needed a lot of work. the yard had trash all over it, the yard and gardens needed serious help and the house was completely filthy with dirt on the siding. The group met the friday before the project and powerwashed the siding. IT was so dirty, that we had to get the power washer withen inches of the house for it to do any damage. After we finished washing the siding, the difference was hugh. The house's color was brought back and completely changed the apperance of the house. On project day, we put flowers and mulch in the gardens, cut the grass, weed-eated, and dumped close to 14 tons of gravel on the driveway. The combination of these small projects brought out the beauty of the house.
The owner of the house and the relatives that lived there were extremely grateful and knowing that we helped them was a great feeling. this project was awesome and i'm happy i was able to participate in it
